Religious Conflict for Midterm or Final

If you observe Shabbat or any of the Jewish holidays on which you cannot do work such as Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Succot, or Pesach, and a midterm or final falls on one of these days, you will need to submit a petition. If the faculty accepts your petition (and if it is for religious accommodations they will), then your coursework will may be re-weighted, your test moved, or you will be accommodated in other ways. This is how to file a petition for religious accommodations :

Midterms:

2. Click on "Submit Petition / View Petition Results for Fall Term Work" or "Submit Petition / View Petition Results for Winter Term Work"

3. Fill out the form and they will contact you.

Finals:

If a final exam falls on one of these days, you will need to email the Office of the Registrar, at exams@ecf.utoronto.ca explaining that you have a religious confict and asking what accomodations can be made.
