A great study break on a Saturday night at the East of Brunswick Pub where we all met for some drinks and enjoyed a couple games of Uno. Its always the right time to go out with friends, meet new people and take a much needed break from our University work.

This year, JES members celebrated Purim with the Bar/Bat Mitzvah party of every 12/13 year old's dreams! The night was full of cringey outfits, 2010's music, dancing, photo booth fun, limbo, and of course, stuffed animal prizes for the limbo and costume contest winners. We are so excited to see everyone continue on their Jewish journey through adulthood.

With school starting in just over a week, we felt that a welcome back event was in order. The Jewish Engineering community reunited with a Sports Night Extravaganza where participants played volleyball, dodgeball and basketball! Teams were set randomly to encourage everyone to get to know each other, and refreshments were available throughout the night.

Reading week is a stressful time for UofT engineering students, so we wanted to find a pandemic friendly way to bring people together for a fun social activity. Attendees each submitted trivia topics they wanted to see in advance, making for a wide range of interesting and entertaining questions. The first, second and third place winners all received giftcard prizes!
